Durante este fim de semana irá decorrer um grande evento para comemorar mais uma edição do festival Baião in Lisboa. Este festival conta com inúmeras atividades e o Fora da Rota vai lá estar com um ”Ritmos” muito especial.

During this weekend we’re having a great event to celebrate another edition of Baião in Lisboa. This festival counts with many activities and Fora da Rota will be there with a very special ‘ ‘Rhythms’’.

De 9 a 11 de dezembro a cidade de Lisboa volta a comemorar mais uma edição de Baião in Lisboa. São 3 dias com muito por onde escolher: mais de cinquenta oficinas de dança, técnicas de relaxamento, palestras e muitas outras atividades no Ateneu Comercial. Lisboa será invadida por 400 participantes, fãs vindos dos quatro cantos do mundo para dançar, dançar e dançar!

 

O que podemos então contar durante estes dias?

From 9 to 11th of December the city of Lisbon is celebrating a new edition of Baião in Lisboa. 3 days with a lot to choose from: more than fifty dancing workshops, relaxation techniques, speeches and many other activities in Ateneu Comercial. Lisbon will be invaded by more than 400 participants, fans coming from all over the world to dance, dance and dance!

 

What can we expect from these days?

Dia 9 de dezembro pelas 22h30 o mercado da Ribeira enche-se de Forró com os primeiros concertos do Festival. No dia seguinte, a Voz do Operário recebe um baile de gala e a festa de encerramento do festival acontece na Fábrica do Braço de Prata.

 

Este ano o festival homenageia Dio de Araújo, uma das lendas vivas do Forró, que irá estar presente no Baião in Lisboa. O festival conta igualmente com nomes internacionais do Forró como RAPadura, Camerata Caipira, DKS, Everton Coroné Trio e, claro, a banda que joga em casa, os Luso Baião.

Há, pois! O Fora da Rota Tours, parceiro do Espaço Baião, vai estar pelas ruas de Lisboa com o seu Ritmos contando histórias e curiosidades sobre esta relação muito especial entre Portugal e Brasil. Este tour é tão especial que irá terminar no Ateneu e o valor inclui o Baião das 5, onde poderão participar no bailarico dentro do festival. On 9th of december at 10.30 pm the Ribeira Market will be invaded with Forró with the first Festival concerts. The following day there is a ball in Voz do Operário and the closing party will happen in Fábrica Braço de Prata.

 

This year the festival is dedicated to Dió de Araújo, one of the live legends of Forró, present in Baião in Lisboa. The festival will also receive international names of Forró music such as RAPadura, Camerata Caipira, DKS, Everton Coroné Trio and, of course, the music band from home, Luso Baião.

Of course there is! Fora da Rota Tours in partnership with Espaço Baião, will be on the streets of Lisboa with its Rhythms telling stories and curiosities about this very special relationship between Portugal and Brazil.
